UUCSF Workshop: “Life at the Meetinghouse”

Postponed to Fall, 2020 due to COVID-19

UUA General Assembly:  General Assembly is the annual meeting of our Unitarian Universalist Association. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience our larger denomination and engage with other UUs from across the country. The weeklong program provides an opportunity to worship, witness, learn, connect and make policy for the Association through democratic process.  Anyone may attend.

This year’s General Assembly will NOT be in Rhode Island, rather it has gone 100% virtual. It will take place from June 24-28. The Theme is:  We are Rooted; We are Inspired; and We are Ready”. Attendance is expected to set records with an audience that will be more diverse and more global. Registration is open on the www.uua.org website and the fee is $150.

Community Sponsored Events

Songwriters Share:  This is the sixth season for Songwriters Share at the UUCSF, the concert series that gives back to the community. Local musicians have an intimate venue to perform and half the proceeds go to a local charity designated by the artists. Concert goers are treated to an amazing evening of music as well as insight behind the song’s story. A complimentary reception follows each show.

Performances take place the first Friday of each month from January through June at the UUCSF Meetinghouse. Concerts start at 7:30 pm. Admission is $20 and $15 for seniors & students.

Due to COVID-19 the 2020 Concert Series is Cancelled

Qigong: Qigong can be a great help in remaining calm and vitalized. Tina Curran is offering a weekly class at 1 pm Saturday on Zoom. Anyone is welcome to join from your own home to work these healing and immune-building exercises and self-massages. Email Tina at curran.tcsung@gmail.com to receive a Zoom link.
