UU Service Committee

The UU Service Committee (UUSC) advances human rights and social justice around the world, partnering with those who confront unjust power structures and mobilizing to challenge oppressive policies. The work is grounded in the belief that all people have inherent worth and dignity. UUSC supports self determination and defends the rights of people displaced due to climate, conflict or economic hardships.  They respond to humanitarian crises as partners with people whose access to aid is most limited.  The UUSC works in more than 20 countries and with over 60 grass-root partners. Become a member of the UUSC with a $40 donation and join a community of over 40,000 supporters. www.uusc.org

UUSC’s Guest at Your Table Program:  This is UUSC’s annual intergenerational program to raise support for and awareness about key human rights issues. Congregations sign on to the program to nurture awareness for all ages of UU principles, social justice and human rights.
